What's the best romance book you've ever read

Looking to fill my boots this new years with reading, reading and yes... more reading.

I recently finished the ACOTAR trilogy and it just didn't hit the spot. I'm interested in learning what everyone else's favourite romance books of all time are.

I will read everything and anything.

A love story, a mystery, courtroom drama, historical, longing, sacrifice, all in one book. I'm not doing it any justice at all..

It's astonishingly beautifully written, it has stayed with me. I don't see it mentioned much, it really is underrated.
