I really like this book - I've actually read it before but I enjoyed reading it again. It's just the sort of book that I like because it's quite quirky, a bit unexpected and you don't really know where it's leading. I liked the main character and my only criticism is that the end of the book seems to come around too quickly. All of the ends seem to resolve themselves much too quickly and you sort of fast forward through what happens at the end, which is a bit unsatisfying. I had a look to see if there was a sequel but I can't see one unfortunately...I'd definitely recommend the book to anyone who likes similar books such as the Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronavitch.

I may have those on my shelves too , Madness of Angels by Kate Griffin is also excellent (similar vein) and there's a few that follow that.
