This book was a slow burner but I liked it. Getting inside her head as she worked through what to say for each case was very interesting. Not sure about her handling of the boy, though. A good read overall which (when I eventually got round to it through various commitments) I would recommend to everyone.

I really liked the first chapters of this book however I must say I did end up skim reading a bit towards the end, as I felt it dragged a bit even though it was a short book.

I enjoyed the insights the book gave me though, and the dilemmas judges face everyday.

I cant say though that I would recommend it, but I also wouldn't say it was a bad read - just rather forgettable for me sorry I would try another book by the same author though
