It was a book that really stayed with me - esp. the whole theme of FGM. I loved the Africaness of the book.

Itsjusta what a lovely, wonderful book Thank you.

It is a beautiful yet tragic story. I had hoped that the Father would be strong, family man but sadly that was not the case. However the daughter and Grandmothers wise characters more than made up for his weaknesses.

I have just seen that this is a debut novel the author is a very talented lady. Thanks again!
