I'm forever buying books and then being left with piles of the buggers.

The idea of swapping them sounds great!

yes i think from the sounds of things we all choose 3 books, write on here what they are an everyone lets you know if they have read any of them already. I guess we can start looking for 3 options and wait to see if we have any new joiners??

I don't like sci-fi either, or those 'child abuse memoirs' type of books which seem to be around at the moment. I have just got into crime/detective books by a certain author which I would never have read normally, but were recommended to by a friend. Might well make one of those my book club book if that appeals to others.

I like most books from martina cole to chick lit to random biographies and historical ones.

I'm up for it.

great, 5 more do you think we should start a new thread asking for people? this one may be a bit misleading. I can put a list of all of us and ask for 5 more peeps. I'll call it 'new book club - july'
