Is this my hormones getting back to "normal"?

A lot of you on these threads at the moment know my story but in quick - I've recently had a MMC of twins diagnosed at our scan a few weeks ago.

I went down the natural management route and am sure the physical side of things took place over the week-end. This is my third day without any bleeding however I have the most HORRENDOUS headache (worse than my usual nightmare migraines) Is this my hormones trying to "sort themselves out"?

We've an appointment at the EPAU tomorrow for (fingers crossed) the scan which gives us the all clear (that's if my head doesn't fall off before then!!!) Will ask them then - they gave us leaflets re "procedures" but they don't really go into the nitty gritty of what your body's likely to do do they?!

Hope everyone I've spoken to on here about connected stuff over the last few weeks are all well. Am thinking of you all xx

Hello

I know I had banging headaches after my MMC, and I asked my Dr about them ,thinking it might have been a big progesterone crash, but she told me it was unlikely, more likely to be a tension type headache. I am not entirely convinced she knew what she was going on about though as she did tell me some duff info about other stuff.

Will be interesting to know what your Dr says.

good luck xx

hi, you poor thing - this must feel like the last straw. i think it is highly likely your headache is hormonal. i suffer from horrendous migraines in pregnancy and have seen a specialist about them - they are definitely linked to pregnancy hormones one way or another. (some people are lucky enough to find that pregnancy hormones actually stop their migraines for a while but the effect seems to be the opposite on me)
at least you can take normal medication now. hope it eases.

I miscarried last week and had the most god awful headaches for about 5-6 days afterwards.

I thought it was from the GA but maybe not it seems.

Poor you It is shite.

Day 4 in the post MMC house.... headache only started in the avo so there's progress.

Day 5....all good so far!

MW said they could be hormonal/could be tension - no definite answer!!

Am looking forward to when they go

I've got a splitting headache, but can't imagine my hormones have dropped greatly yet as mc only confirmed yesterday. I put it down to tension/upset.

Glad your head is getting better MummyMcKT.
