I have just had one of the worse conversations of my life.....

I have namechanged for this - to protect my friend as much as myself.

I had just had a call from my beautiful friend asking me to talk her through what it will be like to give birth to a still born baby next week and it just broke my heart.

I lost a baby late into pregancy a few years ago and this week she has found out (at a slightly later stage) that her baby has a severe abnormality and will probably have to terminate next week.

I am so devastated for them!

I'm so, so sorry that your friend is going through this, and that you are having to relive your memories too. Strength to both of you

you must be a great friend for her to feel like she can speak with you about this.

I'm not really sure why I posted. I'm stuck at work sitting at a desk shaking and just can't clear my head to even contemplate work. Nothing will be certain until next week - it's going to be the longest, most awful weekend ever.
