Hi I was wondering if anyone on here had been to LWH recurrent m/c clinic?
Would you mind telling me who refered you, what tests they carried out etc.
We are in the region and following our 4th m/c (following 2 dc's) in a row seeing the m/c at a smaller clinic and are in the middle of the basic testing but would be very interested if anyone could spare the time to say how they have found the clinic at the womens.
ps 2 of my m/c's were dealt with at the womens and we had a very negative experience.
With thanks

Good news.
Hope they can give you some answers.

I was refered after Ormskirk ran out of solutions for me.

I was snapped up by Dr. Quenby to take part in a trial for NK cells though so didn't really get the full experience.

Fingers crossed I'll be doing the trial and getting the steriods for definite soon.

What was it you needed to know?

Thanks for your reply pretty

I too have been using Ormskirk hospital but during my last m/c I had a very negative experience with the staff at the epu, it was really upseting and I don't want to go back there.

Last m/c was a molar preg and the gynea that I saw did'nt have a clue, told me i'd have to go to Sheffield for regular tests, erm it was a partial molar so only urine samples weekly till levels returned to normal!!!

Tbh, I don't have the impression that they are not that up to date at Ormskirk and figured that LWH being such a big hospital would be better.

I suppose I just want to know what the staff are like at the m/c clinic and what happens during the first appt?

My last MC was molar too.
Still peeing in tubes and sending them off!
My levels are normal but I still have to go through the motions.

How are you?

Sorry you had a bad experince at Ormskirk, they were ok with us.
LWH has been pretty good so far, very througher, with tests.
Too bloody througher actually.

Can't say how your first app will go, as I don't know your history. .
They are a teaching hospital and do many trials.
If there's anything they can do, they will.

Keep me posted on how you're doing
