Sickness getting worse - good/bad/no news?

Should be 8+4, after early mc on Jan 1.

Started thread last Weds after a scan at EPU found embryo with CRL of 4mm and no heartbeat. I am going back for another scan on Fri, but I know there is little hope.

The thing is, this last three days I have been absolutely knocked sideways by horrible nausea - never had sickness at all with DS, but this is constant, all day. Only gets better when I eat something or go outside.

Norks also feel swollen and there's a dull ache.

Don't know whether to feel because body clearly taking the p*ss by carrying on even tho pg a no-hoper, or to have a little bit of hope that maybe it's a good sign. Or maybe even to think that the mc is starting on its own.

Anyone got any experience of this?

Hey
So sorry for what you are going through. Yes, our bodies can be cruel. My preg sysmptoms became stronger for a couple of weeks after I knew preg was over. I had sore boobs (carried on for 6 weeks after ERPC). It takes time for preg hormones to leave your body. I thought there was hope when my preg symptoms didn't go away but the MC carried on.

Yeah, that's what I suspected.

Thank you, and really sorry you had to go through that too. Suppose I need to think of it as some sort of illness now, rather than a possible happy ending.

Hiya,

Sorry if this seems negative, but with all my m/cs I still felt rough, had pregnancy symptoms etc. Took a while for the hormones to settle down each time.

Sorry you're going through this.

Thanks. Is not bloody fair, is it? I have never felt so pregnant, not even with DS who obv arrived just fine.

stillfrazzled, I had similar after my MC in early November. At one point my norks felt so weird I thought I was going to start lactating, which is insane (MC was only at 8 wks). It's utter crap, isn't it

Take care.
