4mm CRL at 7+6, is there any chance this will be OK?

Had early mc on New Year's Day. FOund out I was pg again on Jan 31, three days after normal 28-day cycle would end (had BFNs up till day before, when v faint line could hardly see). CBDigi was neg, only FR was pos. Three days later, so CD34, CB Digi gave me 1-2 weeks since conception.

Had scan 10 days ago and they said I was measuring just over 5 weeks and no HB, so to come back today. I did, and CRL is 4mm and still no HB. Nurse said it didn't look good. Also said 1st mc didn't count as was 'just' mechanical and honestly I should just throw the early pg tests away...

I've to go back in ten days. I suspect I conceived quite late in the month, but looking online I'm v confused about what length is normal when. Is there any chance at all this will be OK, or should I just resign myself?

To be totally honest, it doesn't sound good. If you got a +ve on the 31st, it may only have been a week post conception (so 3 wks pg), but thats 3 weeks ago, so you should be seeing a hb by now really, especially as your baby measured 5 weeks, 10 days ago

But, the CRL to hb correlation is a 5mm CRL should mean a hb, so there is still hope - the measurements aren't totally precise at this stage

Thanks. Am really trying to just get my head round it but my inner toddler wants to yell and stamp that it ISN'T FAIR.

And I swear if one more well-meaning friend or even DH trots out any more guff about if it's meant to be it will be at some point and at least I have my lovely DS I will be sorely tempted to lamp them.

I know they're just trying to help. But they're not.

I know . I wanted people to rage, and tell me that it all sucked, but instead they wanted to say 'comforting' things. I found hiding under the duvet with a vast box of chocs and crap mags better, DH bought a shooty PC game so he could kill things.

if you had a MC on new year you oould still be as little as 5/6 weeks right??
and from my own experience sometimes theHB cannot be picked up at this point xx keep us informed xxx

CMOTD, you actually just made me smile. Slightly bitterly but a smile nevertheless. That is EXACTLY what I want - for people to stop patting my hand and uttering platitudes, just to admit that it's shite, and to give me some plates to chuck about.

This is just taking the p*ss now. If I'm going to mc why can't the symptoms stop?

Truly don't know how to get through next week. Keep wanting to run out of office and cry.

stay calm sweet i know its easy for me to say but the panicking wont do u any good xxxxxxxxx get to the docs for a blood test to ease your mind xxx

still having pg symptoms is reassuring. when are you due to go back?

Sorry, been off t'internet all weekend.

Am due to go back Friday, so I suppose I may as well wait.

Symptoms if anything are getting stronger, but I suppose could be all in the mind. Hate not knowing. Am swinging between hope, and battering myself over the head for being stupid enough to hope when nurse made it very clear there isn't really any.

I am so sorry you are going through this, I was on the thread when you got your BFP. I just wanted to send you a hug. I will be thinking of you on friday. xx I have just got my first proper period since my mc in Dec and I am all over the place I can't stop crying myself - anyway this isn't about me. I really hope everything is ok.

Thank you. Sadly it's all definitely over, stopped developing at approx 6 weeks. Have EPRC booked for Monday. In a weird way I feel better just knowing where we stand, but it's still pretty horrible.

hi i couldnt figure out how to find this thread again but finally figured it out as i wanted to know how you go on....im so sorry it has come to this stillfrazzled i really hope that you dont give up xx i had a d&c as had a molar pregnancy and its not nice especially as all the symptoms seem to haunt you ....i really hope u can get through this and that you will have a viable pregnancy soon xxxx good luck
