Apparently miscarrying but much lighter than expected and no pain

I'm really confused right now. I posted last week www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/900038-Ok-my-period-is-a-week-late which is the back history. I'd be over 6 weeks now but on being referred to the epu on Thursday the pregnancy test was negative so they wouldn't scan me.

I started bleeding brown blood that evening and into yesterday. It waas light. Mostly red from yesterday but very little, barely any on the pad (sorry for tmi) and again today, very little blood. I've had 5 mc's before and this is very different. No pain at all and much lighter than even a normal period for me. I've been having a lot of cramping and pain for a week before I started bleeding.

Is this normal? Please help.

Hows it going? x

I did test again this morning as the dr asked me to, it was another negative. He called back late yesterday and told me to do one and call at 11.30 today which I did. Just got back from the drs again now after having a blood test, I hate needles Results will be back Thur/Fri apparently, it's a beta hcg test which will measure if there is any hcg in me at all. Just have to wait now.

Pain isn't getting worse but is still there, no spotting/bleeding. Thanks

Hi, still waiting! I've no more pain, thankfully; well it isn't getting worse which is good. I might hear about the blood test today, tomorrow at the latest. Thanks.

any news? x

JodieO · 05/02/2010 14:39

Yes, it was bad news. I had the blood test results and the levels were too low to be viable so when I bled that must have been it The dr said we can try again whenever we feel ready. Thanks everyone for the support, appreciated.
