anybody able to help me work out what is going on?

Hi all, wonder if anybody is able to shed any light on what is happening here? Am I pregnant or am I getting over a loss from four weeks ago. Or did I lose one twin and am now continuing with the other? I will try to keep this brief!

came off pill end of sept

nov 30 started bleeding, thought it was my period but something wasn't quite right - TMI - it was very red and heavy. Bleeding stopped after about five days but on 7 Dec took a test, due to 'feeling' pregnant (I have one DS), which was positive.

8 Dec went to doctor took a test and it was negative. She said I have clearly miscarried but to take a test in a week and return if positive.

12 Dec still felt very odd took a test and it -was faintly positive

14 dec took a digital test which came back negative.

Been feeling odd last few days and sick all day Thursday so took a test Friday and it was positive (very strong line).

Anybody have any idea what could be happening? could I just still be getting over loss from four weeks ago? as surely the timings are too soon for me to be pregnant again no?

Will def be going to the doctors tomorrow but just a bit confused (actually have been since bleeding at start of dec!)

Still trying to do the maths, though. 6+3 must mean a conception date of 14th Dec which would be about right if you counted your bleeding on 30th Nov as CD1. Wow (mind boggles and clutches at straws for a positive test after my emc). Sorry, blathering now.

I haven't really worked out the dates properly but I did look at an ovulation calculator and it gave the dates around the 14th dec and the docs have all been using 30 dec as my lmp

But what does CD1 stand for? I see it alot and even more so recently in the types of threads I have been reading. I understand what it must mean I'm just wondering what the abbreviation is. and what about emc? ....? m/c

CD1 is cycle day 1.

Will be testing around 24th Jan.No early tests for me this time, might even leave it til a few days after that (assuming AF doesn't arrive). Last postitive test was 23rd Dec but started bleeding 28th Dec after numerous negative and positive tests and definitive very low hcg blood test. Fingers crossed this time.

Oh I am delighted for you I really am. I think we are at about the same stage (not had my dating scan yet but dates are about the same) so really, the absolute best of luck to you.

I know how your feeling as i am going through the same thing!!
I had a m/c about 13 dec and was bleeding until 23 with one day break inbetween.
i have now found out that im pregnant again, not too sure how far gone but ive had 4 tests all say positive!!
I not really sure of date as im not sure if i have a period inbetween as i had 2 days bleeding on 16 jan but only for 2 days thats why i done the test! I know its not the hormone from last pregnancy as i have had neg tests inbetween!
Im just waiting a week(as i dnt know my dates) and the i will speak to epu about a scan then hopefully find out everythings ok!!!
