Do you think this was a pregnancy???

Have just started bleeding but when my period was about due. I had some symptoms of pregnancy of tender breasts, tiredness etc and we did have sex around ovulation time. So when I started bleeding I assumed that this was my period, but now I wonder whether it is, as yesterday when I went to the toilet I found when I wiped myself a very large piece of bloody type tissue about 4inchs or so in length and sack like with a very dark blood mass at one end. I had a mmc back in may 09 at 9 wks and had a natual one so remember what that was like. Am I barking up the wrong tree but as my periods are always light it makese wonder.

I wouldn't have thought you'd have a visible sac at 4 weeks pregnant - the sac develops at 5 weeks ish as far I know. Plus often you can get clots with periods - it's quite normal.

Tender breasts/tiredness etc are all symptoms of impending period as well as pregnancy.

I cant offer any helpful advice other than when i went for my mc scan iykwim they said that a pregnancy test stays positive up to a week after the mc, so if you want to know do a test asap.

all these could be normal periods.

If you have heavy periods then clots can be normal.

Tbh I don't think you should try to annalize it because you will never really know one way or another, and to think of it as a possible pregnancy when it probably wasn't will only cause additional heartache and cause you to grieve for a baby that might not have been a baby in the first place, iyswim.

Thanks for the replies. I was barking up the wrong tree thought I was, just wishful thinking on my part. When the desire to have another baby is there you think about these things.
