Hi all

I am still waiting for my natural loss to occur. The bleeding is getting heavier but nowhere near period level bleeding. I want to be prepared for the pain. Please could you tell me which painkillers worked well and whther anyone tried Feminax Ultra?

Many thanks.

these are great for period pain, but if i were you i would go to the chemist and get advice about the strongest over the counter painkillers.

feminax have never even touched my mc pains.

(Gas n air & morphine did though! )

Talk to your docs or pharmacist as you can double up on some pain meds. NSADs (Non Steroid Anti-inflamatory Drugs) are supposed to be very effective for these kinds of pains eg. ibuprofen and because of how these medicines work in your body you can 'mix' them with other pain meds and in some cases up the recommended dosage.

BUT YOU MUST CHECK HOW TO DO THIS WITH THE DOCTOR / PHARMACIST as the dosage may have changed.

I got some prescription meds for my mc which are called naproxin and they were expensive very good and very strong.

Sorry for your loss and hope you are as well as you can be

Take care of yourself xx

Hi sh77, just wanted to ask how you are? Are things starting to happen? Hope you're ok and you're getting some progress.

Hi tetley
Not much progress on the natural front - bleeding picking up but still not too much. I am booked for erpc on Wed morning but to be honest I am frightned about the whole thing.

How are you feeling?

I'm doing ok thanks, the bleeding is starting to get less today, which is encouraging. Trying to keep distracted...

Maybe it's good that you've got the appt for wednesday - hopefully it'll subconsciously spur your body on to action. If not, perhaps going ahead with the erpc will finally let you move on...this waiting must be so hard on you.

Feel like I'm stating the obvious of course. I found the idea of it scary (though more because of scary italian hospitals i think). But i have read a lot of posters on mn who spoke positively of it, in that it was over quickly and an end to the physically tough part...

all the best for the next few days
