After three MCs the NHS finally and very reluctantly took a bit of notice of my plight and referred me to a specialist. We waited two months for the appointment. he then ran a few blood tests (chromasome abnormalities, anticardiolipin etc) some of which were the same as ones I'd already had at the GPs. All the tests came back clear, and that was that. we never saw him again or had any follow up. Now i'm PG again. After all the misery i'm not at all excited though of course it's a step in the right direction. I reported the PG to the GP today and expected to hear i'd get some sort of extra support or care, but it seems there's absolutely nothing. i would go private if anybody could make any difference but perhaps there's nothing anyone can do to help make this one stick...? a previous GP had recommended progesterone as soon as i became pregnant again but this GP didn't know much about it and is going to ring a specialist to find out if it's worth it or not.
i'm taking baby aspirin though not sure if much point given i didn't test positive for anti cardiolipin.
any shared experiences? I soo want it to go right this time but have no reason to expect it will! [hmmm]
