Biscuit - I'm sorry for your loss. I'm just having my first AF now 26 days after having an ERPC for a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. I didn't ovulate this month at all, I can usually tell when I'm ovulating, that and I've bought a load of cheap ovulation kits off the internet. A lot of people do ovulate in their first cycle and I think they use their first day of proper bleeding or their operation as day 1 but its a bit unpredictable I'm afraid.

For technical advice on this sort of thing (and emotional support) try the Emmsys part 3 Miscarriage thread, unfortunately they are all experts on there, and between them they will be able to answer just about any question you have on the subject.

I got my ovulation kits from Babymad.com if you're interested.

Hiya ladies,

Huge big hugs to you all.

It is scary not knowing what's going on with the body. Biscuit with me I had a heavy bleed on day I lost baby - then just bleed mostly when went to the loo for about a week. Just getting sorta brown/yellow discharge now. I had a lot of small clots during this time. Think all big clots may have been the night I lost the baby, but to be hinest I didn't really take it all in.

This week have been very up and down. For last couple of days I have felt very low, but am struggling to express my feelings to anyone. On top of that coming down with sore throat and cold, which isn't helping!

Really feel like getting blotto but know that's not the answer.

Anyway am sure in time things will improve and I won't feel so low.

Hi Bionic, hope you ok - Yes and it's going to take some time to adjust emotionally as this is just a very hard time

How many weeks were you when you had MC?

Note you are not alone as we are all here...(and we know how difficult this is)

Take care

Hi Biscuit - was 6 and half weeks when lost baby. Have been trying for over a year and half to get pg, so it has hit me hard. I do already have a LO aged 4yrs, so am lucky in that sense, but feel sad that there is going to be such a big age gap, and that we have failed to provide her with a sibling so far.

Kate - sorry I forgot to say in my last post that I am glad you are out of hospital now. Glad your friends including GracieGirl have been very supportive.

Will catch up again later with you all, friend has just pop in so best go and chat to them.

Take care.
