Which way to turn after 8 weeks of bleeding

I posted a message a couple of weeks ago as I was 6 weeks into a medically managed mc but had been bleeding all that time. Sometimes light sometimes heavy. I went to see my GP last Tues and he was hgood and said it was time for me to have another scan (ultrasound). I went on fri and was informed I have 1.5 cm of 'product' left at the lower part of the uterus.

The nurse has said I should call tomorrow when she has had chance to speak to the docs to see if a DC is still an option. Otherwise I can wait for things to come out at period or have pessaries again. The thing is if my period doesn't come soon - how much longer can I wait. So fed up.

Does anyone have any advice. Thanks

Sorry for your situation Ruby, very traumatic. I had the same thing with a miscarriage, it went on for 10 weeks, the only thing that stopped it was an EPOC (D & C). It sounds like you need the same. the body is trying to flush out everything and it can't, it needs help.

Hi Furball - thanks for your message. I m going to hospital tomorrow to get checked out with the EPU nurses and hopefully can then be booked for D and C
