Hi Everyone, I have had2 MMC's one in January and another in October, I had 1st cycle after 5week wait after Med Management and I have just found out im pregnant again, im just over 4 weeks so too early for a scan. Where would I get baby aspirin from as ive also heard this will benefit? im booked to see my doctor but not able to get in until 12th Jan to see the doctor I want to see. Does the doctor have to prescribe progesterone and aspirin? can anyone help as im so scared of losing this one too.thnx

Congratulations on your pregnancy and sending you lots of positive vibes. Im sorry ive got no experience on taking baby aspirin or progesterone in early pregnancy, but i have had a mmc and mc in succesion-3 months apart then fell pregnant 2 months after mc and the result is my DS aged 3. Im almost 10 weeks pregnant again and i too had backache and also quite strong AF like cramps which lasted a couple of weeks around the 5 week mark, i also had spotting then and at 7 weeks which frightened the life out of me,but a early scan reassured me all was well.
Wishing you all the luck in the world.

Fozzie, I don't know about baby aspirin or progesterone, but do pop over to the Pregnancy after Miscarriage thread, and I'm sure there will be plenty of people to answer your questions and hold your hand. I lost my first lo in March and am now 27+5, and have found the thread invaluable. Congratulations on your pregnancy, and good luck.

Ahhhhhhhhhh thanks for your reply and congratulations to you, you have reassured me a little I guess only time will tell. Isnt it so scarey being pregnant when it should be a happy experience! im trying to relax but I dont think its possible once you've exerienced a mc. I think the baby aspirin may just be a lower doseage (75).
Wishing you a happy pregnancy x

you can get it over the counter at boots and the like,

I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO TAKE IT

it is your desision,

i took it for my last pregnancy,

dd is upstairs in the bath,

i had suffered 3 m/c before her arrival,

good luck with whatever you decide

Good luck darling. A miscarriage does mean future pregnancies are never just as innocent and joyful as they should be, but it does get easier after the first trimester.

I have just came bck from toilet and i have brownish colour blood, pretty similar experience to my last 2 miscarriages, ive had that back pain all day so I dont think this is a good sign at all

Fozzie78 try not to worry, I had bleeding in successful and unsuccessful pg's which turned out had nothing to do with actual mc. Had brownish bleeding several times when pg with DS. Get on the aspirin and my consultant said progesterone cant do any harm so see if your GP will prescribe. Happy to discuss what dosage I have been advised if you need more info. Try and relax, sending lots of love.

I took baby aspirin on the advice of my GP after 2 miscarriages. I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant.

I've no idea if it worked or not, and my GP told me she had no idea either. But I decided to believe that it would.

OyeComoVa · 02/01/2009 22:46

how are you fossie?

daisyj · 03/01/2009 10:02

fozzie - Hope you're OK - let us know how you are... It doesn't really help after what you've already been through, but this needn't necessarily be the end...

Fozzie78 · 03/01/2009 13:17

Hi things still the same back ache has gone but brown discharge still there altho quite light. I rang urgent care they said to rest and go to A&E if it gets an worse. I hate all the waiting and not knowing
