is it possible to have a period after your miscarriage and still have a positive pregnancy test

Im getting so fed up now, i had very slight bleeding today, and hopeing its got to be my period being waiting for it, i m/c on 4th nov.

So is it possible to start my period still be testing positve.

I would ring up your epu to answer this. I really wouldn't have thought so personally.

I had a positive test the day before my period was arrived, (4 weeks post missed miscarriage.)

I don't know how this was possible.

Hi sausagemcgrah can i ask you if the test you took before your period was it a strong postive or faint.

Cos i have now being on/off slight pink bleeding for 2 days now, and still testing a very strong postive.

I'm going to see the doctor on monday. Can't believe i can still be testing at gone 5 weeks after m/c. I was 7 weeks when i m/c.

I can't remember to be honest as I didn't test post MC, but did they do a scan when you MCed?

Hi guys thanks for getting back to me, yes they did do a scan the first scan was on the 3rd of nov to confirm m/c, then on the 4th nov the next day the sac had passed. Then i had to go back on the 17th nov for another scan to make sure everything had passed, and they said that everything looked good.

Thanks sausaemcgrah, i did a clear blue this morning and the line was so strong, the more im thinking about it i think it may be a new pregnancy, maybe im having implantation bleeding, or it could be another m/c for me.
