How long to pg symptoms stay around after mc?

I had a d&c in June and the pg symtoms went straight away, but this time I'm mc naturally and my boobs are still tender. Is this normal? How long will it last for?

Hi vickyjane, I had natural mc in July, and still tested positive for around 2 weeks after. Even after that, it appears that the message had not got through to my boobs, which stayed tender for around 4 weeks after the mc...felt like a sad reminder of the pg. I guess everyone's different, and if you have had a scan to say your insides are back to normal, its just a matter of waiting for everything else to catch up

So sorry for your loss VickyJane. Unfortunately, symptoms can linger to taunt us, but IME the length of time varies from pregnancy to pregnancy.

hello again, sorry - had to end rather abruptly as a colleague came into my office...hope you are doing ok vickyjane, sorry to hear you are going through this as well, and for a second time. Friends of mine have taken several weeks for boobs to stop feeling tender, as lilred says it varies. Hope you find this site helpful, I only came on recently and already feel a bit more normal, having read about others going through these sad experiences
