Hi just wandered if anyone can help me. I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago saturday just gone had a small bleed last saturday at 5 weeks post miscarriage but I only bled for about 2 hours. Have done 3 pregnancy tests all with positive results which seem to be getting darker as though my hormone level is rising. I know that the HCG hormone does remain in your body but how long for and how come the tests are getting darker. Just wandered if anyone has any advice I'm very confused!

Hi fipep. Did they confirm that you had a complete miscarriage? If not you may still have some product (hate that term btw) remaining. If it was complete then you could be pregnant again. Either way i think a call to your gp in the morning is needed. Good luck x

Did you have your miscarriage confirmed at the hospital? They should have done a blood test then and every 48 hrs afterwards for 4 days, to check that your HCG levels were falling. I'd go to the doctors asap.

Hi did have complete miscarriage had a scan after they said all had gone except for a tiny bit that they said would go by itself as discarge or fluid. I too thought this but then have passed some blood last week. Whats added to me thinking I may be pregnant is that I've got reaaly sore breasts that I thought was due to me about to start my period but has been going on for a couple of weeks now. Am trying not to get my hopes up though as Im sure I can't be that blessed to catch so soon. I'm also a bit worried about going to GP incase he thinks I'm being daft!

Get thee to your gp woman! He won't think you're daft. Get your mind put at rest.
