Anyone get their period 4 weeks after their miscarriage?

I have just had a miscarriage. I quickly read some information on various web sites and got the impression it would be 6-8 weeks before I got my next period.

But then it occurred to me that perhaps some people get it 4 weeks later.

Has this happened to anyone?

We are planning safe sex this cycle (which in reality means no sex at prime time) except we did 'do it' at the weekend, which I thought would be fine as it was just three days after bleeding stopped, but have started to wonder if it was really a safe time, as it was '10 days after first day of miscarriage', which normally for me would be early ovulation stage.

What do you think?

I bled rather a lot on the first day and it lasted about a week. I'm not sure if how long you bleed for makes any difference to when your period comes.

My period came exactly 28 days after my last miscarriage. I cant remember the details of my previous 2, they were a long time ago but i know i didnt have to wait long for my cycles to get back to normal.

I have had more than one mc and often get period back 28/29 days later. I had ectopic pgy in May (involving tube removal) and got period back 28 days after that too even though they said approx 6 weeks was normal

Yes I did. Miscarriage at 7 weeks, bled for a week, and period 4 weeks and two days exactly after miscarriage.

Second miscarriage at 6 weeks: conceived two weeks later, am now 6 months pregnant.

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage Diasy, it's not a nice thing to go through. After my first miscarriage my hormones didn't feel normal again until after my first period.

Look after yourself.

Last year I miscarried at 16 weeks and my period arrived five weeks later, then I got pregnant again .

Yes I had my cycle 4 weeks after my M/C.
Now I'm feeling the same way (Pregnant).
I supposed to have my next cycle in 5 days but I been up from 2 weeks straight at the same time 3a.m-4a.m throwing up everything I eaten that day , Could I be Pregnant again?

I was roughly 4 weeks after. Waiting to come off so can start again ttc. I was also told 6-8 weeks. Glad I didn't have to wait that long
