Hi everyone ❤️

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, but I feel like I need to talk to people who understand.

Im 34, have one living child, but last year I had three missed miscarriages, all diagnosed at around 10 weeks. Most recent was tested and found to have trisomy 13 (was told it was random occurrence so didn't need parental karotyling), but we never got answers for the other 2 earlier miscarriages. My recurrent miscarriage investigations came back normal.

We’ve been trying again, and my period is due around today. I think I’m about 11–12 DPO, although I can’t be certain. I’ve been getting what looks like a faint pink second line on my pregnancy tests, appearing within the reading time, so I’m wondering if I might finally be pregnant again. I've attached image-do these look positive?

I want to feel happy, but honestly, I’m terrified.

I know nobody can tell me how this pregnancy will turn out, and I’m not looking for guarantees. I just wondered how others managed the early days after recurrent miscarriage.

Did you allow yourself to feel hopeful? How did you get through the wait for a scan? Did the anxiety ever ease?

I’m finding it hard to sit between hope and fear, and I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar position.

Thank you for reading. ❤️

Good luck. I honestly tried not to look to far ahead and went week by week. I also didn’t do my booking in appointment till week 10. My midwife was super lovely and she was as like - there is no rush. It was a small thing but helped me.

Sorry to hear you have had such a rubbish time 🩷 I can’t offer any practical advice and can’t see the photo for some reason, I just wanted to share that prior to my first pregnancy I had three miscarriages, one of them a missed miscarriage. When I was waiting for surgery to remove a midwife said to me that she wasn’t giving me advice either way as she wasn’t qualified, but some people had success taking low dose aspirin in early pregnancy and to do some research. My next two pregnancies stuck and are currently sitting next to me watching cartoons. It was threads on Mumsnet that I searched for any success stories so just wanted to share mine. Best wishes for you x

Honestly it doesn’t go away.

i am currently 7 weeks pregnant after 3 consecutive mc (have had 4 in total, one before dc)
i had a scan a few days ago, fetal pole and heart beat - i thought i would be happy. Here i am stressing about if the yolk sac was too small. Only 2mm at 7 weeks

sending you hugs and sticky baby dust

Thank you for your replies everyone. Trying to stay positive. Had a blood test yesterday, I think I was 12 or 13dpo and HCG was 50... Is this an ok number? Head is racing and feeling very anxious

It sounds about right.
the number its self varies so much between people.
are they doing another draw?
