Anyone had a successful pregnancy after loss caused by Trisomy 16?

I have just had the genetic testing results back for my recent twin pregnancy loss and it’s come back as Trisomy 16. Just random bad luck.

Has anyone else had this and gone on to have a successful pregnancy?

I’m feeling a bit down about it all. It takes me a year each time of trying to even get pregnant and I’ve had a 5 week loss, an ectopic pregnancy and now a MMC caused by Trisomy 16. I’m 35 now and starting to feel like it’s just never going to happen. I’ve got PCOS and the most recent pregnancy was after 5 cycles of letrozole. I’m going to look into IVF but I’m so scared it will just lead to more loss.

Not a trisonomy but we lost our first baby due to a 16q deletion and I went on to have two healthy babies. It can happen.

Sounds like you've been through so much, I'm so sorry things have been tough. Some people get the most awful bad luck but it's not your fault. Bad things can happen to good people. Sending you love.
