It's heartbreaking. You're not alone in this. Take time to rest and grief. It does get better with time x

So sorry, it is so hard. Do what you need-people all feel different, and you might want to rest, talk, be silent, go straight back to work, feel so ill you need to stay in bed-and there is no right or wrong. It's whatever you need. Don't be afraid to ask for counselling for you, your partner and family-I never really thought about how miscarriage and stillbirth affected the grandparents, and my husband hardly got offered any support either. I did nothing but wish we'd all had counselling.

I’m so sorry. I’ve had a mmc and a mc. Be gentle with yourself and allow yourself time to grieve.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son or daughter.
As someone else said, everyone is different and you need to do what suits you in your own time.
I had an early miscarriage and two later miscarriages, a boy and a girl. They would all be adults in their 20s and 30s now.
I named them, they are on the family tree. Each year their birthdays are acknowledged by myself and my 4 other now adult children.
I refused to let anyone brush their existence aside and they are still very much in the family. You never forget your child but you do learn to live with their loss over time.
I believe you can also get a certificate for some miscarriages now. They aren't legal, just an acknowledgement of their existence. Sending hugs to you xx
