Recurrent miscarriage referral/clinic

I’m currently going through my third miscarriage (consecutive). The woman in the EPAU said I should be referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic.

I’m just wondering what they will actually do? Because I’ve had bloods and scans done through a fertility clinic, all seems to be okay. Does the recurrent miscarriage clinic do more in depth bloods? Different tests? How do they support you in TTC?

I honestly just don’t know where we go from here, what we do next, I feel so lost in terms of our next steps ☹️

I’m so sorry for your losses. I was the same had three losses. The products of conception were sent for testing to determine the reason for loss in my case that was trisomy 13. We were also offered genetic testing. We didn’t pursue it though as I was approaching 42 and we had been trying for 5 years at this point and had just been denied IVF as I was 18 months between pregnancies. So it was raw and I was fragile.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have also had 3 miscarriages and been referred to EPU for tests.

I had blood tests (that all came back clear) and a 3d Pelvic Scan where they found a fibroid outside my womb that they didn't think was effecting our chances.

They did the below blood tests

TSH
THYROID PEROXIDASE
ANTIBODIES
ANTICARDIPLIPINS
LUPUS
ANTI B2 GLYCOPROTEINS

No help with TTC but they have said I will get bi weekly scans if I get pregnant again.
