Anyone had a D and C with local anaesthetic after miscarriage?

First time posting and I just wanted some advice from people who have experienced similar. This will be my 4th miscarriage and they suspect it's a partial molar pregnancy. I am scheduled to have a d&c in a few days time and I have opted for the local anaesthetic only option. Have I made a mistake? What can I expect pain wise?

I had a D&C under general anesthetic last week. Local anesthetic wasn't an option due to the gestation but my friend who recently had one under local said it was absolutely fine. So sorry you are going through this xx

I had one under local anaesthetic and it wasnt too bad at all. They offered me gas and air along with the anaesthetic too. Just made me feel a little wobbly not any pain then and there. The bleeding later was just like a bad period.
