I have previously had a missed miscarriage baby measured 8 weeks with no heart beat when I should of been 10 weeks, I then went on to have a healthy baby, I am pregnant now for the third time I had a scan two weeks ago baby measured 7 weeks which matched up with my dates today I had another scan two weeks on but the baby only measured 8 weeks when it should have been 9, the nurse said the baby looked like it could be in a curved position and may be inaccurate but I have a bad feeling this pregnancy will end, looking for someone who has had a similar situation with good or bad outcome, I have came home feeling deflated and that this won’t end well, a full week seems like a lot to be off by

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! Unfortunately I have experienced two missed miscarriages and both times the baby was measuring behind the dates but it took a couple of weeks each time to confirm this as they had to be certain and so early on no heartbeat etc isn’t necessarily an indicator.
that being said, I read many posts on here and people’s baby turned out to be absolutely fine. When is your appointment? Will they check your HCG levels?

So when I got pregnant I wasn’t tracking anything I was very lucky to fall pregnant immediately after coming off contraception so the two scans I have are all I have to rely on first and second scan we saw heart beat but baby only grew one week bigger in two weeks 😔 my appointment is tomorrow morning and I’ve had sharp cramps on and off so I’m not feeling positive, I hope I am wrong tho 🤞

It's so hard at that gestation to get accurate measurements so it's easy to send us into a tizz with dates. I had an ectopic, so had early scans with my next baby. I knew the dates they gave me at the time weren't right which actually made me panic more but everything did turn out fine in the end.

I hope all is well OP and you get some relief and reassurance tomorrow.

First I was told I had a blighted ovum and was definitely miscarrying. A week later when I hadn’t had the expected big bleed they found a little baby with no heartbeat and measuring 10 days behind even though I was 100% sure of my dates (I would have been 7+5 then). I had pink spotting, red bleeding and cramping nearly everyday from 6-13 weeks. It’s an understatement to say we were shocked to see a living little baby who was measuring exactly to my dates at my 12 week scan. He’s now a big healthy 5 month old. I’m wishing you all the very best for your next appointment
