Hi šŸ‘‹šŸ»
The doctors think I’m having a missed miscarriage.
i should be 7 weeks but baby is measuring 5 weeks, which would mean I fell pregnant a week after a positive test.
ive to go for a rescan in two weeks.
those who have had a miscarriage like this, how long did it take for your body to to let go of the baby?
or did you have to take medication/surgery?
thank you

I'm really sorry you're going through this, it's so difficult. I've had 2 MMC. With the 1st MMC I chose to wait and see if my body would miscarry on its own but after 3 weeks nothing had happened (I wouldn't recommend waiting as it just prolongs the suffering), then I did the medical management (the medication, it was awful, took 4 weeks to miscarry, very traumatic and my health suffered). The 2nd MMC i chose the surgical option and I'd really recommend it, far less traumatic and I felt well taken care of.

I hope the news is good but just incase you do end up needing to choose between all the options.

baby stopped developing at 6 weeks, and reabsorbed into my body. Just the sac was seen
