Hi, has anyone based in UK requested any help from GP after two miscarriages? Like progesterone or blood test? I’m planning to ttc this month but so scared of loosing this pregnancy too as I’m 40 years old already

Hiya, I’m very sorry for your losses. I believe it differs area to area but either way would say yes to you contacting GP, I did after 2 losses and for me I got very basic blood tests but other than that I got the classic line that it was ‘only’ 2…it may be different in your area though, or there may generally be more help due to your age.
There’s many positive stories out there though, i’m currently holding my newborn! I often wonder if my prior 2 losses was progesterone related as I took that during my 3rd pregnancy, but will never know for sure.
Hang in there, and make sure you push for advice and support where needed. Take care and good luck! X

Definitely worth a try - I got referred through my GP to Tommys miscarriage clinic after 2 losses. So sorry you’re going through this
