can someone please help with periods after a misscarrige

ok so at the beginning of april i had a late miscarrige with identical twins.(19weeks)5weeks later i had my first period which lasted around 9 to 10 days but this cycle i have not come on. could my periods still be messed up or is there other reasons?

Have no idea but try and keep it at top of list!

sorry to hear about your m/c. your body is still adjusting to the loss and it can take several months to regulate. have you thought about going on the pill temporarily to get your cycle back?
i think that because the pregnancy was quite far along there may still be preg hormones in your system.
have yoiu spoken to your gp about it?

hi bethoo 2weeks ago i went to the nurse for contraception. the nurse decided it was best to give me condoms instead of the pill as she said my hormones would be all over the place still and bcoz i know i want more kids even though i dont no when il be ready to try again. not really had much help from any health proffesional so ive not known what to expect or anything.

anyone else?

oh rite thanks. its been nearly five weeks since i had my 1st period obv with not having anything explained to me i didnt no if ur 2nd period should come after 4weeks. so does this sound ok? and if it dosent come how long should i leave it before i see a gp ?
