Has anyone else had a miscarriage due to mosaicism for monosomy of chromosome 21?

I’ve had 3 miscarriages in a row in just over a year, on the last one it got sent for genetic testing and came back with having mosaicism for monosomy for chromosome 21. I’ve read online that this is rare? Me and my husband are now having parental karyotyping done as further investigation. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same as us? Or anything similar and how it turned out for them! 😊

Hiya, I’m not sure if I’m any help. I had a couple of mmcs a few years ago which weren’t tested. But earlier this year I gave birth to a beautiful boy with Trisomy 21. I don’t know if the chromosome issue was a fluke or the others were the same. But he is thriving and I wouldn’t change him for the world. I hope you get your baby soon x

I had karotyping done after my third loss came back as trisomy 15. My partner is fine but I have mosaicism (so 2 cell lines) both with different chromosome abnormalities. My 4th pregnancy I lost due to triploidy (again, just unlucky).

My 5th was genetically normal, but unfortunately I got an infection that threatened my life so had to deliver at 22 weeks and she was just too small to survive. But totally unrelated to my chromosome abnormalities.

We are now waiting on our first appointment with the IVF clinic to do PGT-SR (with NHS funding) due to my diagnosis.
