I had a miscarriage, 12 weeks, April, and 9 weeks, Aug. Just done a test at 13 dpo as had cramps since yesterday and no period. Test was negative yesterday.
I'm worried about 1, late implantation (history of chromosonal loss)
2, I've been prescribed progesterone for next pregnancy in advance, do I start this now or wait and see if line gets darker tomorrow

Any advice would be appreciated

I'm also 37 with DOR and an AFC of about 6/7, amh 5.26pmol

Thanks

@NeatZebra there is no image 👀

NessShaness · 20/10/2025 12:05

No image, but start the progesterone now.

I had to take it from 7 dpo. I’m convinced it’s the reason I had a health pregnancy after multiple miscarriages.

They only told me to take it on a positive test, I haven't been proven to have low progesterone though my last tests where all before my 2 miscarriages and periods have been super light since. I'm worried if I take it and I'm not pregnant my period won't come

Is there any medical professionals you could speak to?

NeatZebra · 20/10/2025 13:02

They said if it's positive to take the progesterone but I can't tell if it is or isn't. The fertility team have a voicemail service , you can't speak to them directly, you leave a message and they call you back within 3 days.

It looks positive. I’d start the progesterone. Hope you’re okay

I wasn’t proven to have low progesterone either, but it’s a “can’t hurt, might help” medication.

Thats a positive test, so take it. You can always keep testing and if you do get negatives, then you stop.

Best wishes op x

Thank you, I will start it tonight after work and brace myself for another emotional rollercoaster 😬! Xxx

I think take the progesterone and get another test with a different brand to check against. Do you know how sensitive the test you have is?

Fingers crossed for you! Recurring miscarriage is awful and really messes with you, hopefully third time lucky!

NeatZebra · 21/10/2025 09:43

The line is lighter today so I think it's a chemical ☹️ xxx

Update, lines about darker again today but still faint for 15 dpo, terrified of ectopic as only got one functioning ovary. Getting bloods tomorrow and Monday 😖

Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞.

loveteandcake · 22/10/2025 22:33

Good luck 🤞

All the best to you!
It's awful, being pregnant after two losses. It happened to me - the third pregnancy was fine, though.

NeatZebra · 23/10/2025 13:28

Another update, line faded again today, went for bloods as I'm terrified of having an ectopic , but it's likely just a chemical. Stopped the progesterone and waiting for my period xxx
