I will post the picture in the comments

I had a late term miscarriage in 2020. Baby was estimated between 16-17 weeks, although we never will know exactly when he passed. For the whole time I've always believed he was a boy. But after seeing a picture of someone's baby at the same gestation, who was a girl, I'm questioning it. I know it can be quite tricky to tell, but the nubs looked identical so I'm wondering if he was actually a she. Doesn't matter either way, as he/she is and always will be so loved. I'd just like to know for the closure more than anything

Did you have a postmortem?
I also had a 16/17 week loss and I understand. Sorry you went through the same. When the baby was born, it looked like a boy part, but the postmortem showed it was actually a girl.

It's hard to tell from visually looking at those weeks,
