Hi All,

I’ve had three miscarriages this year and my GP has now referred me to St Mary’s Clinic in London, I’ve had an appointment for 2nd December.

This appointment is virtual, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they’ve been, the process and outcomes?

Sorry you’re going through this. I haven’t been to that clinic, but was treated for RPL elsewhere. I had a blood panel done, which revealed some issues with how my blood clotted. I had to inject with blood thinners throughout pregnancy (clexane). Next pregnancy carried to term. Good luck x

Hi @MangoLatte87 ,

thank you so much for replying. That’s brilliant that they found the cause and you’ve since had a successful pregnancy. Did it take them long to find the clotting issue? Were you private or NHS?

We went private. I struggled with waiting lists etc. on the NHS.

They did some scans and two blood panels (I think about 27 tests total), but all within about one month. It took perhaps 6 weeks total from first appointment to them suggesting the blood thinners for the next pregnancy.
