Hi everyone. I sadly had a miscarriage in March at 7+5. We have been trying again for a few months and got a positive this month. Unfortunately, I had a chemical pregnancy at 4+5. Bleeding started today. I am due to go out for my sister's hen party this evening so feeling very low. The previous miscarriage occured during another family event. It's hard to put a brave face on.

I already have a 2 year old. We conceived easily with her and pregnancy was very straightforward before a traumatic birth. I breastfed for 20 months but have struggled with weight gain. I have lost some since stopping breastfeeding but still a stone heavier than pre-pregnancy. I had issues with anemia post birth but doctor judged levels as 'satsifactory' . I also had my thyroid tested last year and results were on the lower end of normal. I will be turning 37 soon.

This miscarriage and chemical may be bad luck as I know both are common but I can't help worry that there are other issues going on. I am planning to get bloods done as part of a overall health MOT.

Has anyone had a similar experience or could offer advice on areas that may be worth focusing on?

Thanks in advance.

You might find you are fine next time round so try not to worry too much. Carry in for a bit longer and you may get a surprise!

Thank you. I know it's not uncommon and a lot of people go on to have successful outcomes.
