I was recommended this site back in March after suffering my second mc (6+4). It has been great, sad & inspiring to read posts from people who have been through the same thing and sadly from some who have suffered more. My first mc (6+5)in Feb last year was probably the worst thing ever. I was 42 & had been trying for just 1 month. I am now 43 and because of this my GP has referred me after only 2mcs - for which I am so lucky. Well I fought my way through the 'Book & Choose' information and without any knowledge on which hospital was better, picked Whipps Cross as it is very near by. I have been following a fabulous 'Junes Recipe' from an MSN site which includes all sorts of fertility vitamins, baby aspirin & advice. At least it has made me feel like I am doing something !! Well, the appointment seems to have suddenly come round & it's early tomorrow. Does anyone have advice on what I should ask with regard to investigations, information, better consultants etc. I do have a medical background, although away from it for over 10 years, and find that medics seem more free with information when you understand them ! Also not sure what sort of things I can insist on/request, especially due to my age. Hope you can help
