Medical treatment with fibroid

So, I’m currently going though a missed miscarriage. My EPU called me today to arrange my confirmation scan and what treatment I wanted. I originally opted for surgical but the next available appointment wasn’t for another 9 days. The week wait between the scans has been bad enough so I don’t want to wait for over another week. I need to start moving forward with this so I’m going in on Friday for a confirmation scan and to get the tablets for medical management. They found a fibroid at my first scan and I just wondered if anyone had issues passing their loss due to a fibroid. I’ve been reading stuff online (probably not the best thing to do) and now I’m worried it’s going to end up incomplete or I’ll bleed too much.

I had medical management when I had 3 fibroids! Each was about 1cm in size. I was 12 weeks at the time and not a missed miscarriage. It was TFMR due to patau syndrome.

I did end up with a small retained product, which came out naturally. I really can't say whether the fibroids had any baring on this at all though. I did have a hycosy after that pregnancy which showed that the fibroids weren't blocking my tubes or affecting fertility chances. I asked about having them removed, but they said they wouldn't do it whilst TTC, especially as they so small and not affecting me day to day.

How large is your fibroid OP? Any reason you think it would affect passing the pregnancy? How far along are you?

My fibroid is about 5cm. I’ve just been googling things which probably isn’t the right thing to do but I’m scared for what is to come with medical management. Google told me that fibroids can cause heavy blood loss and may block all of the tissue from passing.

I should be 9+1 but embryo stopped growing around 5+5.
