TW GRAPHIC PHOTOS- Misscarriage or blood clot?

Hi all,

I posted in woman’s health but didn’t get any replies.

Currently on the pill and period did not come as scheduled the beginning of last week. I do have Pcos so irregular periods are normal but I took a pregnancy test anyways which came back negative.
Monday my period finally came. Not much blood but very painful and a foul smell (I normally never get any pain). Presumed it was BV and was going to book an appointment but I’ve woken up to this.
It felt very rubbery and wouldn't break up like a normal clot. I’m wondering if it’s a miscarriage or just a clot? If it is a miscarriage I would be just over 5 weeks. I do have a large ovarian cyst and had a smear last week so I’m wondering if it’s related to that.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Thanks in advance.

So sorry you haven't received any ideas , I don't have any experience on whether it could be one . What has happened since you posted ?

It could be a partial decidual cast, it’s basically all your period clumped together. Pregnancy tissue is usually grey.

@GoldMoon thanks very much for your reply 😊 Went to GP she said the photo looked like a miscarriage but she did a test which came back negative so ruled it out.

Said it’s unlikely to be related to my cyst but prescribed antibiotics as there is a foul smell 😫 If the pain gets worse she said I have to go to A&E to rule out ovarian torsion. Hopefully not! Xx
