Morning all,
Just looking for some advice.
I had a miscarriage around 4 weeks ago (confirmed complete on the 2nd of May) due to me suffering with infertility the majority of my adult life I jumped straight back into TTC again. I tested for ovulation as soon as the bleeding stopped and got a positive ovulation tests on the 18th of May. On Saturday (31st of May) 13DPO I got an ultra faint line, barely visible, on a cheap chest test so went and bought an ultra early clearblue digital. Used that yesterday morning 14dpo and got a pregnant result. I have tested again this morning and again the line is barely visible. My worry is that today I should be 15dpo and the line should be so much more visible now. Has anyone else been in the same situation and can offer some advice?
I am currently waiting for my GP to call me back to see if they will complete an HCG bloodtest to confirm but been told by the receptionist that they don't do blood tests to confirm pregnancy. I have also phoned the department that dealt with my miscarriage and they also don't do this tests unless it is classed as an emergency.
Thanks

Did you get a negative pregnancy test after your loss?

Katiec21 · 02/06/2025 09:36

Yes, on the 14th of May

At least you can rule out it being leftover HCG. It could be a new pregnancy, may be a chemical pregnancy. To be honest the best thing is probably to wait a couple of days and test again and go from there. The waiting is so frustrating.

It really is so frustrating 🙃. I will test again in 48 hours but after doing a lot a reading on different forums I am fearing a chemical pregnancy

Did you test again OP?

Katiec21 · 04/06/2025 00:06

I did, still super faint. I am fearing an unsuccessful pregnancy but don't know who to speak to. As mentioned above I spoke to the department who dealt with my miscarriage and they said cause I did get a positive digital they aren't concerned about the other test and will only see me if I start bleeding so will just have to wait it out I guess
