TW / Graphic image
I was 3 days late for my period and this is very unusual for me . All my pregnancy tests were negative .
In the morning I started off with an unusual sharp pain in my belly that quickly disappeared- no spotting occured until about 10pm that night .
The next day I thought I had started my period with heavy bleeding and excruciating tummy pains. Though later on when I went to the toilet , I saw some tissue that I think would look very similar to a 4 week old fetus with what would have become the umbilical cord . I am sorry for the picture but I would just like to see if other people also think I’ve had a chemical pregnancy / miscarried as I’ve never had this happen before

That looks like a clot. If the tests were saying negative at 4 weeks then you can be pretty certain it wasn’t a pregnancy, so please don’t worry! at 4wks the foetus is the size of a poppy seed, and you would not be able to see the umbilical cord.

Sometimes you can randomly get clots with no history of them. I hope your period pain doesn’t last too long.

Oh, im glad you think so . We have been actively trying to conceive and when I was late I thought maybe we could have been . When I saw the clot my heart dropped and I was so upset . Hopefully next month🤞
