Has anyone gotten pregnant straight after a miscarriage with no period in between?

Did your pregnancy test turn negative before the new pregnancy?
How did they date your new pregnancy?
I've had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks along beginning of this month. I took the pills to push the miscarriage further as i didn't want to wait.
My tests have gone lighter by last week, but still clear to see the test line. Tonight i took another test to check if it has gone even lighter but it looks like it's getting darker.
It's been over 3 weeks since my miscarriage, i've had unprotected sex 12 days ago.

Yes I have.
thought it was retained products as I also felt so unwell.
Turns out I was 7 weeks pregnant.

Yes I did in theory 3 weeks between MC and what is now a grumpy 13 year old!

It meant that no one quite believed me at first and my dates were a bit wonky.

Interestingly the midwife said "oh yes that can happen either you are super fertile or it takes a while"

I rang early pregnancy unit, got told to go back for a checkup next week on wednesday unless my tests turn negative by then. But i think today's test was lighter again with browish discharge when i wipe. I'm confused, all i'm hoping for is it's not retained products. After that i will be praying for my rainbow baby.

Hey

i had 3 pregnancies

one in January and miscarried fell pregnant and miscarried early march and around April 22nd I got my 3rd positive pregnancy test who is now a 3 year old ❤️

no periods or nothing inbetween.

I've heard of that happening quite a lot. Kind of like straight after giving birth you're super fertile too. It's like pregnancy, however long or regretfully short it may have been, seems to prime the system.

Yes I did! I have a healthy 2.5 year old but did have some complications in my pregnancy that made me wonder whether it was to do with having back to back pregnancies without a period in between my miscarriage 😢

Yes… and then miscarried again…☹️… and then had one period and then pregnant again. That one stuck! Phew. Good luck op.

Happened to me - he’s going to be 30 this summer. They dated my pregnancy to the date of my miscarriage (best guess) and said they’d adjust it as we went along. Thing is, because I’m diabetic I have big babies so that confused things too. I was induced at what they said was 36 weeks only to find when he came out that he wasn’t as far along as they’d thought. Too late to put him back by then though 😁 Thankfully he was fine and though always the youngest in the year (30th August birthday) it hasn’t held him back. I’m sure technology is a bit more accurate now with scans and things and there won’t be as much guesswork involved.

Hope all goes well for you and you get your rainbow baby 💕

I had a miscarriage in December, negative pregnancy test on the 3rd Jan. By mid Feb I still hadn't had my period and was getting nauseous so I took a test and got a positive. A few days later I did a week's test and got a 3+ so I phoned the epu for advice about progesterone and the reassurance scans they offer. They said they would measure my HCG to determine when to scan me. It came back at over 100k so they scanned me the next day and I was 8 weeks already!
I contacted my midwife for my booking appointment and she used the date from the scan to fake a last period date, if I hadn't had the scan they would have used the date of my miscarriage. I was 13 weeks at my dating scan and am now nearly 19 weeks!
