Hi, please can someone confirm if this was the actual pregnancy or is it just tissue? I was about 6-7 weeks.

graphic photo.

I did go on to have a healthy twin pregnancy after this, but just want to know if this is what I thought it was (what would have been baby) or if it’s just uterus tissue.

Sorry there seems to be no picture attached yet but from my own experience there was a mix of clots and tissue so difficult to determine what was what, and that is really difficult to process mentally following the MC. I had a MMC at 11 weeks but they suspected (though no scan between 7 weeks - 11 weeks) based on the amount of tissue it had stopped developing around 7 weeks (despite me having a private at at 7w6d and seeing the heartbeat etc)

I miscarried 8 weeks ago now in the EPU so they had everything that came out and the ‘remains’ were sent off to pathology to determine what was what for the tissue to be cremated and I’m yet to hear back despite chasing so if clinical staff who see MCs often could not determine by eye then it’s probably not easy to say for definite.

Happy to hear you went on to have a successful pregnancy after though as someone who’s not got to that point yet ♥️

Was that all you lost or was there more blood/clots than that and this is just the largest of them?

@wordywitch I bled heavily starting Friday, huge clot passed in that night, this image was from the following Tuesday after continuous bleeding.

@lollypops2303 thanks for replying. Photo has now been approved. So sorry to hear of your losses. I know nothing takes the pain away, but trust that statically you’re more likely to have a healthy pregnancy after a loss no matter how many you have.
