Can small amount of HCG affect ovulation test?

I had a MMC miscarriage 2.5 weeks ago, medically managed (bleeding lasted 5 days - 2 days heavy then the rest spotting). I took a pregnancy test with first morning urine and I still have a very faint line. I took a LH test on second morning urine and very dark. I know LH picks up on HCG but my pregnancy test is so faint. Do you think it's possible that it's accurate and l'm about to ovulate? I’m CD17 so would be ovulating around now or a couple of days ago on a regular cycle. Picture included!! Please help!

After my miscarriage I got a peak ovulation test around the same time whilst my pregnancy test looked like yours. I’ve heard of women getting pregnant 2 weeks after miscarriage before their first period. Good luck xxx

Hi OP. Sorry you're going through this. I had an MMC in January. I got my period nearly exactly four weeks later. I didn't test for ovulation but I know I did from EWCM. So you could very well be ovulating!

Sorry for your loss! Was it 4 weeks from when your bleeding stopped? I haven’t really got EWCM which isn’t normal for me. A few days ago I did have very wet, clear cervical mucus for a couple of days but it dried up yesterday so not really sure what’s going on! Hopefully I am ovulating! All the best with your journey!

No it was actually four weeks from when it started. I passed some tissue myself on the Thursday and had a D&C on the Tuesday for the remaining tissue. I think my body reset from the Thursday cause it was four weeks from then that I got my period. From chatting to women on here it can really vary on when AF comes back. All the best with your journey too. Its much harder mentally than physically x
