Still positive after 3 weeks medical management

Hi all,
so I’m still positive after 3 weeks medical management. EPU said my urine sample was borderline positive/negative and to give it another week.

Has anyone been in this situation? I’ve got a scan booked for next week as a precaution.

Yes, I was 28 days before I showed as negative. I had to have a scan and was told to keep testing.

Did the scan show no tissue?

Yes, the scan showed no tissue and then my hormones eventually dropped.

Mine was positive for 8 weeks after my D&C. No reasons found as to why. Sorry for your loss.

Yes i was testing positive until my first period which arrived 4 weeks after medical management,i only got a negative test on day 3 of that period.

I had a natural miscarriage. I was still testing positive for weeks. I had a scan which showed retained tissue. I was given 3 options - wait to see if it comes out with 1st period, medical or surgery. I chose to wait as my period was likely to be very soon. I was re-scanned after period and the tissue was still there. Then during my 2nd period, the tissue came out. It took 9 weeks for everything to come out naturally (start of MC to losing the retained tissue).

Oh wow I didn’t realise you could have a period when your hcg levels are high enough to get a positive.
im now negative thankfully. Just waiting for period to come now. I was going to just track ovulation and try regardless but I think I’ll wait for a period first

I had a scan and they couldn’t see tissue. I got my negative the following day. No period as yet
