How long did you bleed after a miscarriage?

Just looking for some advice please, I was 13 weeks pregnant when I had a missed miscarriage on Monday, babies heart stopped at 8 weeks

I ended up miscarrying naturally and went for a scan on Tuesday which confirmed the pregnancy tissue had passed

Since then I have been bleeding quite heavily and still passing a number of clots, the cramping still comes and goes

I could ring the gynae unit for advice but don’t want to bother them unnecessarily if this is normal. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar? Thanks

So sorry you are going through this. I had miscarriage at 8 or 9 weeks. Had the tablets as no heart beat on am early scan. I bleed for over a week I think. I was off work for two weeks and not bleeding when I went back to work.
I had a few times when I though I might need to call the hospital due to large clots or sudden heavy bleeding but it in the end didnt need to . Bleeding was worse after I was more active ( which makes sense I guess). Keep resting and call hospital if you are worried.

10 days was my last one I think. 7 days for my other ones.
But it's entirely personal and varies from one person to the next.
I was told if I was still testing positive on a test after 2 weeks and still bleeding by then, then to call and get checked

I don’t think I was quite expecting how bad it was going to be physically, I had a previous miscarriage at 5 weeks but the pain and bleeding was manageable and similar to a normal period

I had a mc at 11 weeks, literally the day before my scan.
I think I bled for a good 10ish days, near 2 weeks or potentially even longer. I just remember thinking it was quite long. And also had clots come out at times. I think the further along you are the more painful it is.
