Hello all, I hope you’re ok. I recently lost my right tube due to an ectopic pregnancy :(. Feeling so sad as it was such a wanted baby and worried for the future. Any success stories of conceiving with one tube would be so appreciated. Just want to remain hopeful. Thank you xx

This happened to my sister, she went on to have two lovely children. Conceived very easily.

this happened me at end of April this year I conceived two months later currently 29 weeks pregnant xx

Me, most of one tube removed, the other also damaged. IVF didn't work, but I unexpectedly conceived naturally.

My big sister conceived her 3rd child with one tube at the grand age of 38! She wasn’t actually trying and her other two were 8 and 6.

I lost my left tube with an ectopic - went on to have four more healthy babies with no problems.

Thank you all so much. I am so pleased for you all/those you know who have been through this and had success and it also gives me some hope. I’m feeling so, so low & worried so really appreciate these responses xx

I conceived DS at 44 on one tube and ovary, no assistance, and I wasn't actually trying. I assumed I couldn't 🤗

Quite a surprise !

I lost a tube to an ectopic and went on to conceive swiftly and naturally. Know exactly how you feel but please don’t lose hope.

Apparently when you lose a tube the other steps up to work harder, told this by friend with 4 children after ectopic! She was told by consultant

I know exactly how you’re feeling (I posted on here pretty much exactly same post as you). That was my first pregnancy and I had to have emergency surgery, blood transfusion etc, it was a horrible experience. But mostly I was worried about what it meant for the future. But two cycles after my surgery I fell pregnant (with my DD who is now 4) and then again after two months of trying (with my DS who is now 17 months) and I’ve just had BFP for my third, after three months of trying. So please don’t lose hope, it is more than likely you will fall pregnant again and have a healthy baby xx

I can’t tell you how lovely it is to hear your success stories. I’m so sorry so many of you had to experience the heartache of ectopic pregnancy as well.

Your posts have made me feel more hopeful on a really bad day xx

Lost my right fallopian tube after an ectopic, followed by at least 5 chemical pregnancies and then another ectopic 6 years later on the other side, although they were able to save my remaining tube. Started IVF process and just before I started the injections part of the cycle I got a call to tell me that I was already pregnant. Pregnancy was successful and followed by 2 further successful pregnancies.
