Missed Miscarriage - Surgical or Medical?

I’m hoping for some help. We unfortunately found out at our 10 week scan that we lost our baby at 6w2d. My body still hasn’t recognised it so I am booked in for a D&C on Wednesday. I have since been doing research on Ashermans Syndrome and have scared myself sick about not being able to conceive again… The risk looks to be 30.9% after a D&C yet it also says it’s a ‘very rare’ syndrome?
I have since researched medical management but the pain looks to be unbearable and I worry that I’ll need a D&C if that wasn’t successful. Online it says 80% of medical managements are successful and less invasive on future fertility.
We are desperate to have a baby - can anyone give me any advice on this and best option? I have a couple of days to decide…! But also desperate for this pregnancy to be over as I feel so sick 24/7 :( Thank you :)

Hi there I know this is a slightly older post but I am due to get an MVA on Wednesday, would you be willing to share how long it took you to conceive after your procedure? 🌈 thanks xx

Hey! I’m so sorry for your loss. So it took 5.5 weeks for my period to return after my D&C and I was told we could start TTC after a normal period. I have been tracking ovulation with ovulation strips and finally ovulated on cycle day 34!!! So my cycles are very out of whack unfortunately. Currently in my two week wait to see if we were successful after our first cycle trying… Good luck with your procedure! If you have any other questions I’d be more than happy to chat🥰 xxx
