Can someone tell me if this was a miscarriage? I had extreme back pain and chills, I thought I was on my period at the time but once this came out, the pain and chills went away immediately. The bleeding has continued but lightened up.

Look this up , it looks like one of these so not a miscarriage .

A decidual cast is when your uterine lining sheds in one large piece as compared to drips and drops like your menstrual period. It can be painful, but it’s rare. The large piece of tissue resembles the shape of your uterus. It doesn’t usually cause long-term complications.

It looks like a decidual cast to me. I had one 4 years ago.
