I’m 34 (turning 35 soon) OH is 28.
We have been married just over a year and decided early this year to try for a baby. No previous pregnancies.
Was on microgynon for 10+ years plus and stopped in February. Periods were like clockwork for the duration of the pill, however as soon as I stopped the pill periods vanished!
Fast forward months later I went to the GP who referred me for bloods, had to have these repeated. Was then refereed for a scan. Impatient me decided to have a private scan that revealed ‘mild PCOS’. Inofolic recommended and OH to have semen analysis. One month later we discovered I was pregnant ❤️ we were over the moon.
However, this was short lived as I had a missed miscarriage at around 6w 3d. Was advised to pass naturally however had to go back for medical management yesterday and sadly passed the baby and the sac. Nobody could have prepared me for that and would not wish that experience on anyone!
Now I’m left in limbo knowing what to do now 😓 we obviously want a baby ! Spoke with GP today as I want to get an official diagnosis for PCOS so I can know what to do next. Petrified of being pregnant again and whether this will happen again. Also know my clock is ticking!
Think this was more of vent post! I am not looking forward to the OPK’s again, negative tests etc felt hard enough for the first time round !
